Echoes of Hope: Listening Circles in the Community

  • Kampala, Uganda
  • Free and open to all

Echoes of Hope brings healing, support and practical resources directly to individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health challenges, in their own neighbourhoods.

Each session opens with a listening circle, a safe space where people can speak about what they are carrying without fear of shame or gossip. Peer mentors then follow up one to one, and families are invited to join a dedicated session of their own.

The programme also links participants with wellness workshops, counselling and treatment services, so that the support started in the circle continues long after the day ends.
