Join the movement

Recovery needs many hands.

Volunteers, mentors and partners make everything we do possible. Whatever you can offer, there is a meaningful place for it here.

Volunteer

Ways to give your time and skills.

Every volunteer receives an introduction to our approach, training in confidentiality and safeguarding, and support from an experienced team member.

  1. Peer circle support

Help set up rooms, welcome newcomers and support trained facilitators during our weekly circles.

  2. Outreach team

Join street, market and school outreaches, sharing information and helping people take a first step.

  3. Mentoring

If you have lived experience of recovery, walk alongside someone in their first months. Training is provided.

  4. Events and logistics

Plan gatherings, coordinate transport and supplies, and make our community events run smoothly.

  5. Professional skills

Counsellors, lawyers, designers, IT specialists and educators can give expertise that changes what we can offer.

  6. Awareness and media

Photograph, write, film or speak to help us carry stories of recovery to more people across Uganda.

Partner with us

Organisations that help communities heal.

Schools, employers, faith communities, NGOs and businesses are often the first to notice when someone is struggling. We work with partners to turn that concern into practical support.

What partnership can look like

  • Hosting awareness sessions for students, staff or congregations
  • Referral pathways so the people you serve can reach confidential care quickly
  • Fair-chance work placements and apprenticeships for people in recovery
  • Sponsoring an outreach, a peer circle or a place in the Recovery Education Academy
  • Donating venues, transport, equipment or professional services
  • Joint campaigns that challenge stigma around addiction and mental health

We agree clear goals with every partner and share what the partnership has achieved.
