Voices of Recovery Movement is a community-led initiative supporting individuals affected by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges across Uganda. We exist to break stigma and restore dignity.
Healing begins when people are given a voice, not silence.
We were founded on the belief that no one should face addiction, trauma, or mental health struggles alone. Recovery is possible when people are supported with dignity and compassion.
We listen without judgment and walk alongside every journey.
Healing grows stronger when shared with others.
Every person deserves respect regardless of their past.
Kuol Bol Mel founded Voices of Recovery Movement with a vision to transform how communities respond to addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges in Uganda.
His mission is to ensure that no one suffers in silence and that every recovery journey is met with support, compassion, and opportunity for renewal.
We are a recovery movement committed to transforming lives through awareness, storytelling, and community support.
To empower recovery journeys through support, education, and lived experience storytelling.
A society where recovery is embraced, stigma is removed, and healing is accessible to all.
